"Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard will miss tonight's home game against New Orleans, the Spurs announced Wednesday.

Duncan has a sore left knee. Leonard has a contusion on his left knee, suffered from a nail on the court late in Monday's victory at Philadelphia.

Both are listed as day-to-day.

Duncan, enjoying a resurgence in his 16th NBA season, had sat out the Spurs' victory in Atlanta for the purposes of rest. He has played in 42 of 44 games, averaging 17.5 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks with a 24.9 Player Efficiency Ratings.

Leonard had already missed 18 games with quadriceps tendinitis before cutting his left knee. He is averaging 9.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 26 appearances."
